A cool morning to come for SA and VIC

Graeme Brittain, Saturday November 23, 2019 - 16:13 AEDT

The mercury will drop to around four-to-eight degrees below the long term average across South Australia and Victoria on Sunday morning.

The passage of a weak front today has introduced a cooler airmass across the region. High pressure is now building quickly in the wake of the front. This will allow winds to fall light overnight tonight, which will subsequently enhance nocturnal cooling.

Sunday morning will be a stark contrast to the very warm conditions many Victorians woke up to on Thursday.

Another cool morning is forecast for the region on Wednesday, with temperatures dipping around five-to-ten degrees below normal for late-November. A touch of frost is also possible for sheltered inland parts of central and eastern Victoria.
