A taste of winter for Melbourne

It’s a tale of two halves looking at Australia's temperatures tomorrow. Whilst Perth is expected to reach the mid-to-high 30's, on the other side of the country, Melbourne is only forecast to reach the mid-teens.
A cold front will gradually make its way across the Bight today, with mild air ahead of it across Melbourne. However, things will take a turn as the front introduces a substantially colder airmass across the southeast and Melbourne in the early hours of the morning, bringing a winter chill to the air.
This, along with increased cloud and showers will result in maximum temperatures topping out in the mid-teens. Should the temperature only reach 16 degrees it would be the city's coldest day since early December, and stay below 15 degrees, it would be the coldest since early November.
Cooler temperatures look to stick around for the remainder of the long weekend, so stay at home and keep warm.
