Cool change brought to Sydney

After reaching a top of 35 degrees in Sydney's CBD on Friday, a late cool change provided some relief, with the cooler weather looking to stick around over the coming week.
Sydney Obs Hill recorded their warmest March day in 13 years on Friday, with the city reaching a maximum temperature of 35.0 degrees at about 4pm. The cool change which arrived was not sudden, with winds slowly shifting to a more southerly direction over the course of the evening, and so the temperature drop felt was not dramatic. Saturday has been almost 10 degrees cooler, with an overhead trough and consistent onshore winds providing some prevailing cloud cover over the city.
While on Sunday we may again see some blue skies and warmer temperatures, another trough looks to again move over the region from Monday. With this trough, below average temperatures are then expected throughout the week, also with the possibility of showers each day.
