Steamy night for Sydney

Sydneysiders suffered through a sticky evening on Friday, waking to the highest November minimum temperature since 2015.
Hot, dry winds from the interior brought a very hot day to Sydney on Friday 2nd November, with temperatures in the high 30s recorded across the Greater Sydney area. Heat was mitigated in the afternoon by the onset of a seabreeze, and later with showers and thunderstorms during the evening, but this only served to make things feel more humid and uncomfortable when the rain had cleared.
By early Saturday morning, the minimum temperature had fallen to only 21.4 degrees, the highest minimum for the month since it cooled to 22.4 degrees on the 26th of November 2015.
A cold front is expected to bring cooling later on Saturday, but warm mornings are again likely later this week with a deepening inland trough.
