Weather Situation
A low pressure system near New Zealand has generated a large southwesterly swell. Large waves will continue to decrease as the low moves further east.
Damaging surf conditions have eased, with waves expected near 4 metres tonight and easing to around 3 metres on Saturday afternoon.
