FINAL FLOOD WATCH FOR THE BRUNSWICK, RICHMOND-WILSONS, AND TWEED RIVER VALLEYS

Note: This Flood Watch provides early advice for possible future flooding along
all rivers, creeks and overland flow paths within a nominated valley [See note
below].
The low pressure trough off the far north coast of New South Wales has
weakened. A large ridge of high pressure over the remainder of the state
remains slow-moving. Showers are expected to persist along the far north coast
and adjacent ranges for the remainder of the week, with the chance of a
thunderstorm on Wednesday and Thursday. A shower or two can be expected for the
central parts of the coast and adjacent ranges. Conditions are mostly sunny
elsewhere.
There is no longer a flood threat from this weather system.
Minor flood warnings are current for the Richmond-Wilsons and Orara River
Valleys. A Strong Wind Warning is current for the Byron Coast and Coffs Coast.
