Final Flood Warning For The Hawkesbury River

Flood Warning Number: 19

FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING AT NORTH RICHMOND AND WINDSOR.
No significant rainfall has been observed since Saturday morning. No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.
The Hawkesbury River at Windsor fell below the minor flood level (5.80 metres) Monday afternoon.
The Hawkesbury River at North Richmond fell below the minor flood level (3.80 metres) around 8:05 am Tuesday.

Hawkesbury and Lower Nepean River:
Flooding is no longer occurring along the Hawkesbury River at North Richmond and Windsor.
The Hawkesbury River at North Richmond (WPS) is currently at 3.79 metres and falling, below the minor flood level.

The Hawkesbury River at Windsor (WPS) is currently at 4.11 metres and falling, below the minor flood level.

Flood Safety Advice:
In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500.
* Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place.
* Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
* Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
* Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.}
