Final Flood Warning For The Bohle River
Issued at 09:44 AM EST on Tuesday 26 March 2024
Flood Warning Number: 2

FLOODING EASING AT MT BOHLE DURING TUESDAY
Rainfall totals up to approximately 75 mm were recorded across the Bohle River catchment in the 24 hours to 9:00 am Monday, with further small totals up to approximately 20 mm since then. This caused creek and river level rises throughout the catchment, with minor flooding expected to have peaked at Mt Bohle during Monday afternoon. River levels are now expected to be generally easing and no further flooding is expected.
Further showers and the chance of a thunderstorm are forecast for the remainder of this week, but these are not expected to significantly affect river levels at this stage. The situation is being monitored and warnings will resume if required.

Bohle River:
No further flooding is expected in the Bohle River.
No observations are available along the Bohle River at Mt Bohle. However, the river level is expected to have peaked above the minor flood level Monday afternoon. The river level is expected to be around a second flood peak just below the minor flood level Tuesday morning.
The Bohle River at Mt Bohle is expected to ease during Tuesday, and remain below the minor flood level (4.00 m).

Winter is Coming: Chilly day for Sydney, rain pelts eastern seaboard

17:22 AEST Just as we forecast yesterday, a coastal trough has deepened along the NSW and southeast Qld coasts as a low in the Coral Sea continues to inch closer to Qld.  The trough has brought some interesting weather to NSW in the past 36 hours or so, particularly along the coastal fringe, giving those New South Welshmen a “Stark” Game of Thrones reminder: winter is coming.
