for the West Coast, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Flinders, Mid
North, Mount Lofty Ranges, Adelaide Metropolitan, Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo
Island, Riverland, Murraylands, Upper South East and Lower South East forecast

Weather Situation
Very hot and dry throughout. Northeast to northwesterly winds becoming fresh to
strong and gusty during the morning, particularly in the west. A gusty west to
southwesterly wind change will move across western parts of the State during
the afternoon and central parts during the evening. Gusty, mostly dry
thunderstorms in the north and west.

For the rest of Thursday 24 January:

Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the following forecast districts:
Lower Eyre Peninsula, Mount Lofty Ranges, Kangaroo Island and Lower South East

Severe Fire Danger is forecast for the following forecast districts:
West Coast, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Flinders, Mid North, Adelaide Metropolitan,
Yorke Peninsula, Riverland, Murraylands and Upper South East
