Final Flood Watch for Huon River

Flooding is no longer expected in the Huon River catchment.

A front bringing overnight rainfall to southern Tasmania has now passed to the
east of the State. Conditions have eased and no further significant rainfall is
forecast for the coming days.

In the 24 hours to 9am Tuesday, widespread rainfall totals of 10-40 mm were
observed across the Huon River catchment.

Strong and dangerous flows will be a hazard over the next couple of days.
