Final Flood Warning for the Interior District

Flood Warning Number: 10

Areas of flooding are expected to ease in the Interior District during Sunday
and Monday.

For the 24 hours to 9am Monday,there is a medium (60%) chance of showers and
thunderstorms forecast for the Interior District.

Interior District:
Areas of localised flooding are still possible in the Interior due to recent
rainfall over the past week. However, widespread heavy rainfall is not expected
during Sunday into Monday, and flooding is expected to begin to ease.

Flood Safety Advice:
DFES advises people and communities to be aware that flooding is possible and
be prepared to relocate equipment and livestock. Watch water levels. Travellers
need to be aware that road conditions may be adversely affected and travel
plans may need to be reconsidered. Do not drive into water of unknown depth and
velocity.
