RIVER LEVELS TO REMAIN BELOW THE MINOR FLOOD LEVEL AT SETTLEMENT POINT WITH HIGH TIDES
The river level along the Hastings River at Settlement Point peaked below the minor flood level (1.20 m) overnight Thursday into Friday with high tide.

Hastings River:
Minor flooding is no longer expected in the Hastings River.

The Hastings River at Settlement Point peaked near 1.03 metres around 00:00 Friday and is currently at 0.13 metres and rising with the tide, below the minor flood level (1.20 m).
The Hastings River at Settlement Point is expected to remain below the minor flood level (1.20 m) on the high tides during the weekend.

Flood Safety Advice:
In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500.
*Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place.
*Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
*Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
*Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.}
