MINOR FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT CORAKI AND BUNGAWALBYN
Moderate to heavy rainfall from late Wednesday has caused river level rises across the Richmond River catchment. Rain and river levels are now easing.
Showers with possible severe thunderstorms are forecast for Saturday, however, no widespread significant totals are expected.

Richmond River:
Minor flooding is no longer expected along the Richmond River.

The Richmond River at Coraki peaked below the minor flood level (3.40 m) during Friday. The river level is currently at 2.27 metres and steady.
The Richmond River at Coraki is expected to remain below the minor flood level (3.40 m).

The Richmond River at Bungawalbyn peaked below the minor flood level (3.00 m) during Friday. The river level is currently at 2.12 metres and steady, below the minor flood level (3.00 m).
The Richmond River at Bungawalbyn is expected to remain below the minor flood level (3.00 m).

Flood Safety Advice:
In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500.
* Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place.
* Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
* Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
* Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.}
