NO FURTHER FLOODING EXPECTED ALONG THE FORTH RIVER BELOW WILMOT
No further flooding is expected along the Forth River below Wilmot.
In the 24 hours to 9 am Saturday, no significant rainfall was recorded in the Forth River catchment. No further significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.
All dams are spilling. River levels remain elevated and strong and dangerous flows will be a hazard over coming days.
Forth River above Paloona Dam:
River levels remain elevated along the Forth River above Paloona Dam. Lake Cethana, Lake Barrington and Lake Paloona are spilling.
Wilmot River:
River levels remain elevated along the Wilmot River. Lake Gairdner is spilling.
Lower Forth River below Paloona Dam:
No further flooding is expected in the Lower Forth River below Paloona Dam.
The Forth River below Wilmot is currently at 4.13 metres and falling.
The Forth River below Wilmot is expected to remain below the minor flood level (4.50 m) during Saturday and into Sunday.
