Heat set to stick around for Perth

Perth has seen consistently above average temperatures this month, with no signs of any substantial cooling.
The average maximum temperature for the city in November is about 26.5 degrees. We are now nearing the middle of the month, and so far only one day has recorded a below average maximum - albeit only a fraction of a degree lower than normal.
High pressure has been situated to the south of Western Australia, whilst a low pressure trough has sat off the west coast through much of the month. This has allowed a feed of very warm air from the interior to be directed towards the west coast, as well as acting to inhibit the development of a significant seabreeze most days.
The mercury will continue to peak above average through until Thursday, when a trough pushes in from the west and brings more average temperatures to the southwest.
