Snow Outlook

Thomas Hough, Thursday June 13, 2019 - 12:32 AEST

After a few days of no snowfall, what does the next week look like and will there be any significant falls?

Whilst the upcoming week will bring a few flurries of the white stuff, unfortunately no really significant falls are expected. A centimetre or two may fall over the peaks on Thursday 13th and Friday 14th, however the weekend looks to see minimal, if any falls.

There is some model uncertainty with positioning and timing of systems into the start of the new working week, however light snowfalls can be expected most days, with Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th looking the best chance for more than a centimetre or two.

As always, stay up to date with the latest forecasts to find out when it’s best to hit the slopes.
