Final Flood Warning For The Oakover And Nullagine Rivers

ISOLATED FLOODING CONTINUING ALONG THE OAKOVER AND NULLAGINE RIVERS
Heavy rainfall over recent days has resulted in river level rises and minor flooding along the Oakover and Nullagine Rivers.
While river level rises are possible with floodwaters moving downstream, significant river level rises and areas of widespread flooding are not expected in the De Grey River catchment for the next few days.
No significant rainfall has been recorded in the De Grey River catchment in the 24 hours to 9:00 am Friday. Showers and thunderstorms are possible for the next few days.
Elevated river and creek levels may continue adversely affect road conditions and lead to isolation of some communities.
Check road conditions before travelling.

Oakover River:
Minor flooding is likely to continue along the Oakover River at Ripon Hills Road for the next few days. However, no further significant river level rises are expected along the Oakover River.
Nullagine River:
Minor flooding is likely to continue along the Nullagine River at Tumbinna Pool for the next few days. However, no further significant river level rises are expected along the Nullagine River.
De Grey River at Coolenar Pool:

DFES advises people and communities to be aware that flooding is possible and be prepared to relocate equipment and livestock. Watch water levels. Travellers need to be aware that road conditions may be adversely affected and travel plans may need to be reconsidered. Do not drive into water of unknown depth and velocity.}
