Isolated patches of mid to upper level cloud with some embedded storm activity drift over parts of the Top End and Cape York Peninsula. A low-pressure trough through South West Western Australia brings a thick sheet of mid to upper level cloud with a thick line of embedded storms to central and southern parts of Western Australia, as well as western South Australia. A field of cold speckled cloud sweeps over Tasmania in the wake of a cold front. This feature is also driving a thick arm of low level cloud over western Victoria. Onshore flow is bringing isolated low level cloud along parts of the east coast. The remainder of the country is mostly cloud free.
