Areas of possible heavy rainfall to ease in the afternoon about the coast between Cairns and Mackay. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Isolated patches of morning fog inland in eastern districts south Bundaberg, possibly scattered about the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Light variable winds in the southern interior. Light to moderate northeast to southeasterly winds elsewhere, tending fresh at times about the northeastern coastal fringe.Maximum temperatures above average in the southeast, below average in the northern and central interior, and near average elsewhere.
