Queensland local weather

Isolated to scattered showers across much of the state apart from the southeast. Isolated thunderstorms in the far west and across northern and tropical eastern Queensland north of St Lawrence. Locally heavy falls possible in the tropical northeast and northern interior. Light to moderate northeast to southeasterly winds in much of the state, tending southwest to northwesterly in the tropics.
