Partly cloudy in the southeastern Queensland with isolated showers near the coast south of K'gari. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms elsewhere, tending widespread at times about the North Tropical Coast with heavy falls possible. Severe thunderstorms with heavy falls possible in northwestern and northern interior Queensland west of Hughenden. Light to moderate northeast to southeasterly winds, tending fresh at times about the east coast.
