Scattered showers in Central and South East Queensland, mainly near the coast at first, but spreading inland during the day. Isolated thunderstorms in Central Queensland, the northern Darling Downs, and about the coastal fringe in South East Queensland. Isolated showers about the remaining east coast, tending scattered about the Whitsundays and North Tropical Coast. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Fresh and gusty southeasterly winds about the east coast, light to moderate east to southeasterly winds elsewhere. Maximum temperatures slightly below average, near average about Cape York Peninsula and the Channel Country. Minimum temperatures slightly below average, well below average in the North West.
