Moderate east to southeasterly winds north of Cairns, light to moderate south to southeasterly winds elsewhere. Winds fresh at times about the exposed southeast coastal fringe. Minimum temperatures below average, tending near average about the Peninsula. Maximum temperatures slightly below average, tending well below average in the far west.
