Minor To Moderate Flood Warning For The Bogan River

MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT GONGOLGON ON WEDNESDAY
MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT DANDALOO MONDAY AFTERNOON
The main flood peak along the Bogan River has passed Monkey Bridge and is now approaching Gongolgon, where a moderate flood peak is possible from Wednesday.
A second and smaller flood peak is now approaching Dandaloo, where minor flooding is possible from Monday afternoon.

Bogan River to Nyngan:
Minor flooding is possible along the Bogan River at Dandaloo.
The Bogan River at Dandaloo may peak near the minor flood level (4.10 metres) Monday afternoon.

Lower Bogan River:
Moderate flooding is possible along the Lower Bogan River at Gongolgon.
The Bogan River at Gongolgon may peak near the moderate flood level (1.00 metres) during Wednesday.

Flood Safety Advice:
In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500.
* Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place.
* Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
* Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
* Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.}
