Minor Flood Warning For The Culgoa River And The Bokhara River

MINOR FLOODING CONTINUES AT KENEBREE AND GOODWINS WITH RIVER LEVELS SLOWLY FALLING
The main flood peak along the Culgoa River has now passed Kenebree, where river levels have fallen below the moderate flood level Monday morning and are expected to remain above the minor flood level during the next few days.
Along the Bokhara River, the main flood peak has passed Goodwins, where minor flooding is continuing and river levels are slowly falling.

Culgoa River:
Minor flooding is continuing around Kenebree.
The Culgoa River at Kenebree is currently at 5.49 metres and falling slowly, above the minor flood level (4.70 metres).
The Culgoa River at Kenebree is expected to remain above the minor flood level (4.70 m) during the next few days.

Bokhara River:
Minor flooding is continuing along the Bokhara River around Goodwins.
The Bokhara River at Goodwins is currently at 2.27 metres and falling slowly, above the minor flood level (2.00 m).
The Bokhara River at Goodwins may fall below the minor flood level (2.00 m) around Thursday.

Flood Safety Advice:
In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500.
* Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place.
* Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
* Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
* Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.}
