MINOR FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT COFFS HARBOUR WEDNESDAY MORNING
Heavy rainfall since Tuesday afternoon has caused significant river level rises across the Coffs Creek catchment. Coffs Creek at Coffs Harbour peaked below the minor flood level early Wednesday morning.
Further heavy rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Wednesday. Renewed rises possible and The Bureau will monitor and issue warnings if required.
A Severe Weather Warning for heavy rainfall is current for the Mid North Coast and parts of the Northern Tablelands Forecast Districts.

Coffs Creek:
Flooding is no longer expected along the Coffs Creek at Coffs Harbour.

The Coffs Creek at Coffs Harbour peaked at 2.40 metres around 01:00 am Wednesday and is currently at 2.32 metres and falling.
The Coffs Creek at Coffs Harbour is likely to remain below the minor flood level (3.00 m) Wednesday morning.

In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500.
* Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place.
* Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
* Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
* Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.}
