Final Flood Warning For The Burnett River

FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING AT DUNOLLIE ON THE BOYNE RIVER
Scattered showers of between 5 to 27 mm were recorded across the northern parts of the Burnett River catchment to 9am Sunday.
Further showers and a chance of thunderstorms is forecast for the next few days, which will result in renewed rises in the areas of heaviest rainfall. The situation will be closely monitored.

Auburn River:
Small river rises occurring at Dykehead, however river levels along the Auburn River are generally easing on Sunday.
Stuart and Boyne Rivers:
River levels are also easing across the Stuart and Boyne Rivers during Sunday.
No observations are available for the Boyne River at Dunollie, however river levels are expected to be below the minor flood level and easing on Sunday.
The Boyne River at Dunollie is likely to remain below the minor flood level (2.50 m) during the next few days. Further renewed rises are possible with thunderstorms over the next few days.

Barker and Barambah Creeks:
River levels are generally easing across Barker Creek on Sunday through to Bjelke-Petersen dam, and also easing further downstream along Barambah Creek.
