Moderate Flood Warning For The Bremer River And Minor Flood Warning For The Warrill Creek

MINOR FLOODING EASING ALONG THE BREMER RIVER BETWEEN ROSEWOOD AND FIVE MILE BRIDGE
A MINOR FLOOD PEAK IS APPROACHING THE WALLOON AREA ON THE BREMER RIVER DURING FRIDAY MORNING
MINOR FLOODING EASING ON WARRILL CREEK AT AMBERLEY
Heavy showers and storms overnight Thursday produced further scattered to isolated rainfall up to 37 mm across the Bremer and Warrill catchments. Further showers and storms are forecast across the weekend, however the threat of very heavy rainfall has lessened ahead of the weekend.
River and creek levels are generally peaking and easing during Friday along the Bremer River and Warrill Creek catchments.

Warrill Creek:
Minor flooding is easing along the lower reaches of Warrill Creek.
The Warrill Creek at Amberley is currently at 4.20 metres and falling, above the minor flood level (4.00 m).
The Warrill Creek at Amberley is likely to fall below the minor flood level (4.00 m) Friday afternoon.

Bremer River:
Areas of minor flooding and isolated moderate flooding is likely to continue along the lower reaches of the Bremer River during Friday, where the flood peak is approaching the Walloon area.
The Bremer River at Rosewood is currently at 4.38 metres and falling, above the minor flood level (4.00 m)..
The Bremer River at Rosewood may fall below the minor flood level (4.00 m) late Friday afternoon or early evening.

The Bremer River at Five Mile Bridge peaked at 5.06 metres (minor flood) around 08:18 am Friday 15 November and is currently at 4.96 metres and slowly easing, above the minor flood level (3.50 m)..
The Bremer River at Five Mile Bridge will remain above the minor flood level (3.50 m) Friday afternoon, and likely to slowly ease below the minor flood level (3.50 m) Friday evening.

The Bremer River at Walloon is currently at 6.08 metres and rising, above the minor flood level (5.00 m)..
The Bremer River at Walloon is expected to peak near 6.30 metres late Friday morning.

The Bremer River at Ipswich is currently at 2.37 metres and rising with the tide, below the minor flood level (7.0 metres).
The Bremer River at Ipswich will remain below the minor flood level (7.00 m) during Friday as floodwaters continue to slowly arrive.
