Final Flood Warning For The Wallam And Mungallala Creeks

FLOODING HAS EASED ALONG THE WALLAM CREEK AT BOLLON
Moderate to locally heavy rainfall observed across the Wallam and Mungallala Creek catchments last week led to creek level rises and flooding.
The Wallam Creek at Bollon is expected to have fallen below the minor flood level Tuesday morning.
Further rainfall is forecast from the middle of the week, which may cause renewed creek level rises.
The situation is being closely monitored and flood warnings will be issued as required.
Wallam Creek:
Flooding is no longer occurring along the Wallam Creek.
The Wallam Creek at Bollon at 6.30 am Tuesday 1 April was at 0.50 metres and falling, at the minor flood level (0.50 m).
The Wallam Creek at Bollon is expected to have fallen below the minor flood level Tuesday morning, and will remain below the minor flood level (0.50 m) during Tuesday. However, renewed rises are possible from Wednesday with forecast rainfall.
Mungallala Creek:
Creek levels are easing along the Mungallala Creek.
