MINOR FLOODING EASED AT NULLAGINE
MINOR FLOODING EASING SLOWLY AT RIPON HILLS ROAD AND TUMBINNA POOL
Isolated heavy rainfall over the last few days has caused rapid river level rises along the Oakover and Nullagine Rivers with minor flooding easing across the catchment.
No significant rainfall was recorded in the 24 hours to 9:00 am Thursday in the De Grey River Catchment.
Showers and thunderstorms are forecast for the next few days. However, forecast rainfall totals are not expected to significantly affect river levels.
Oakover River:
River levels are elevated and minor flooding is easing slowly at Ripon Hills Road.
Nullagine River:
River levels are elevated and minor flooding is easing slowly at Tumbinna Pool. Upstream, river levels at Nullagine have fallen below minor.
Coongan River:
River levels along the Coongan River are below the minor flood level and falling.
Shaw River:
River levels along the Shaw River are below the minor flood level and falling.
Flood Safety Advice:
DFES advises people and communities to be aware that flooding is possible and be prepared to relocate equipment and livestock. Watch water levels. Travellers need to be aware that road conditions may be adversely affected and travel plans may need to be reconsidered. Do not drive into water of unknown depth and velocity.}
