Northern Territory local weather

A slight to medium chance of showers and thunderstorms, increasing to a medium to high chance in the Tiwi, Daly, Gregory and northern Tanami Districts. Thunderstorms south of Barrow Creek may be gusty with little, if any, rainfall. Very hot in the southern Arnhem District and a little cooler in the Simpson and central Tanami Districts. Light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds, fresh and gusty south of Barrow Creek during the afternoon.
