Cloud over north Qld with an offshore low and trough is bringing rain, heavy at times. Cloud over the northern tropics with troughs is bringing some storms and showers. Cloud over east and southwest NSW, Tas and coastal Vic with onshore winds is bringing little if any rain.

Grampians bushfire smoke blows into SA, NSW

15:37 AEDT The smoke plume from the latest bushfire in Victoria's Grampians National Park now stretches around 500 kilometres, as south to southeasterly winds blow smoke all the way to MacCabe Corner – the name for the spot where the NSW, Vic and SA borders intersect.
