Cloud spiralling into a low near TAS is bringing heavy rain there and increasingly gusty showers to Vic, southern NSW and SA, falling as snow above about 900m. Patchy jetstream cloud over Qld and WA is not rain-bearing. Clearer elsewhere in stable, drier winds around a high.
